This is the UK’s routine immunisation programme.

8 weeks to pre-school immunisations as per the schedule are given by the Practice Nurses at Silverdale.

You will receive a call to book or you may wish to call us.

School age children have their vaccinations at school by the School Nursing Team.

If your child is homeschooled you may contact us.

For the flu vaccine texts are sent with a link inviting patients to book.

If you are eligible for a flu vaccine for the 22/23 season please call and book if you have not had a vaccine yet.

We will update our website with further information at the start of the next flu vaccine season 23/24.

Appointments are made by referral only. Clinics are held by specialist nurse at different times throughout the week at The Avenue surgery. In addition patients are offered the opportunity to benefit from specialist input from the community diabetes team.

The practice provides a full service for our asthma patients, including yearly reviews, spirometry and many aspects of respiratory medicine.
