The original site at Silverdale Practice is the administrative centre and is a short walk from the railway station. In 1997, due to need for more space to accommodate our growing role in health care and medical education, the Avenue Surgery was built in a central location in the heart of the town.
Both surgeries work together as a single unit. By rotating locations during the week, doctors are available to consult at both sites. The Avenue is fully compliant with current disabled access requirements. If registering with us, patients are expected to be able to attend at either site.
Our continuing aim is to provide the best healthcare possible. Healthcare is always a partnership between patient and doctor. Whilst we will always try our best, we need your help to do this. At times when we are very busy, such as during an emergency or an influenza outbreak, we ask you to please try and be understanding.
In order to register with this Practice, you must live in Burgess Hill.
The registered Manager is Dr Charlie Walters (for CQC) and Jess Yaxley for day to day running.
All newly registered patients will be asked to complete a short questionnaire before their registration is complete.
